Stitch Sketch 10
This small, playful, abstract composition is assembled from trimmings of bigger artworks. There is so much potential in every stitch and color gradation. I cannot let these tiny treasures go to waste, great care was taken with placement of every bit, making sure that each bit speaks to the other bit and that together the bits tell a tale. What that tale is, is up to you to decide.
The tale is stitched onto a sturdy folded card, measuring 5”x7” overall, vertical or horizontal, whichever way you like it best. You can pop it into a frame or pin to the wall. Or you can send it to a loved one in the included envelope, just be ready for a bit of extra postage.
I am donating 90% of all proceeds from this card to the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund. It is being run through the North Carolina Arts Foundation to provide funding and assistance directly to artists and arts organizations affected by Hurricane Helene.
